I book a flightwith Jet2.com on line yesterday by mistake , I have no intention of going on the day booked is there any point in contacting Jet2 to ask for refund ? , The website show No refunds will be given but the flight booked does not fly until next May 2001 !! with taxes and fees it comes to over 150 Euros, can I make any claim on the refund or is it just something I will have to take on the chin? Any advise would be appreciated, any legal advise ? , it was payed with Debit Card.

You can change the name or date for £27.50 per person per flight plus any difference in fares. Any claim for a refund of airport passenger duty will have £40 per booking deducted.0

Don't worry, the flight has gone, it left 9 years ago...:D0

Reddog,
if you had've contacted Jet2.com immeadiately you made the booking, they may have (going from past experience, but not sure about now) been able to cancel the booking for a fee. i know it is not advertised, but we did this about a year ago, and ended up being just charged about £25 per person, but the rest was refunded. however when this happened, we called within 5 minutes of the booking being made.
always worth a try, you never know.
Just one thing that makes me curious - how do you book a Jet2.com flight by mistake?I used to be a Travel Agent Used to be a travel agent for 23 Years, but now out of the industry. However I will help with what i can.0 -
I doubled a flight in error. First didn't appear to have gone through just 3 minutes between the bookings. All Jet2 would do is charge me a fee to cancel the second booking. They told me they didn't have to.
Since this happened to me there is a big bold notice saying do not click anything!
Works for me now.0
