Pet Medicines

I think there is a thread somewhere, but I'm not the best at searching.

I've had my kitty for 5 weeks now and on her records, it says I have to worm and use flea treatment every month, so I guess the time has come.

I believe you can get Frontline (is this the best?) cheaper online and should imagine the best worming treatment will be on online too.

Can someone lead in the right direction and also say what are the best ones to get?

Thanks

I've used VetUK and can recommend them - cheap and fast delivery.
If your cat leads a very "sheltered" life you probably won't need to worm and deflea them that often.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

    Hi Pollyanna,

Another vote for VetUK from me - they are cheap, quick to send the stuff out and reliable.

Thanks very much for everyone's replies. She's not very sheltered. She has her own door (catflap) and we have seen her go next door on both sides! So who knows what she gets up to!

PS Besides from getting the cheapest (cos they are all the same to me) worming treatment, what's the best to get?

For wormers you can give Drontal from 12 weeks of age, if kitty is younger than this panacure (i'm not sure of the spelling) paste is recommended, by my Mum a vet nurse.

I agree with mentaljessie. Drontal or panacure if young.

I've used https://www.vet-medic.com in the past

My dog is diabetic and I get her insulin etc online at https://www.bestpetpharmacy.co.uk and they are just soooo efficient and cheap too for frontline etc. They also post small items free of charge which is something to think about when other sites charge p and p on top . Its worth checking out a few prices before you buy.If you order online it is delivered next working day by first class post. Good luck

i dont want to sound mad but frontline is poison and can badly affect cats and dogs. https://www.theholistichorse.com has natural worming and flea treatment.
have not used as have no pets at the moment so cant comment on their effectiveness

i am not anything to do with them BTW
