Wanadoo/Orange as ISP, third party SMTP?

Their ISP is Wanadoo. They have their own 3rd party domain and their own email addresses, accessed through Outlook Express. The domain provider provides the SMTP facilities.
Works on most other ISPs, but with Wanadoo there are major problems sending emails. I may need to change the port no. from 25.
Any help greatly appreciated.
The Orange website help is the poorest I've ever seen.
It doesn't work in Firefox (2.0) at all.
And I refuse to have another dig at incompetent broadband customer service. It's too easy.

Sorry, I don't get what you are trying to do - are you trying to send emails from Outlook or from web pages....?0

A lot of ISPs (most) block traffic from port 25 (including Orange) unless you are using their own SMTP server.
Maybe worth an email to the domain provider to see if there is any other port you can switch to use their own SMTP facility.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
