Do I get the deal when I confirm to Switch?

Hi - the utilities pricing is changing by the day - i signed up to change to scottich power on 16/11 which showed a saving of 30% today the same deal is 22%. Is my saving based on when i clicked confirmation on the energy switch website on the 16th or when it is set up? I ask now as i am within my 7 day cancelation of the 23rd and now based on today EDF appears better with 100 cash back .

The SP increase was only announced on 19/11, to take effect 25/11. You don't get the 'original' price held on any variable tariff-they can increase it at any time (as EDF will inevitably do on 1/3/11).
If you switch to EDF OSV7 remember to go via Quidco to get your additional £80 cashback.No free lunch, and no free laptop
