Surely the coupon says upto the value of £5 and not minimum spend of £5?

    And clew? clue ;)

The coupon does say "this coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer". So they could pull me on the fact it was on their "better than 1/2 price offer".

And "upto"? or did you mean "up to" ;)

    lol

Ok. Always best to storm out in a fit of rage before they bring that bit up

    We're even. :o
Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Lol. I felt like just walking out while she was away. as all my shopping was bagged up and wouldn't of looked any different from anyone else leaving the check-out.

But she had scanned my clubcard

I have walked out and left all my shopping many times in all the supermarkets when had hassle with coupons. It's great fun when you see their face when you say "ok then, if you" won't accept my coupons I don't want my shopping" and walk out or even better, "I just want all the Reduced to 10p stuff, take all the other 50 items off my bill" :D :rotfl::rotfl:

BTW on this thread we don't care about spelling mistakes, we just like to have fun, help each other, pass on deals, winning comps and save each other as much money as possible. We are known as the best and friendliest thread on mse, please all help keep that reputation.;)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Apologies to the OP, I saw this on here (MSE) a short time ago, but can't refind the original thread now.

Apparently there is a (non printable :o) coupon for free Jaffa cakes in the Star today (Tuesday) for Londis and somewhere else

    edit: added link, (thanks blue)

Had a nightmare shop in T`s yesterday afternoon- dark & very wet for a start, then I had £4 LV`s + £2 Co-op conditional spend. Of course, the cashier disappeared to ask about the LV`s (presumably, I never get the same person twice, as I have them from Pinecone often enough), then when I`d driven home, happened to look at my receipt- £3 of LV`s hadn`t come off the bill, & neither had the £2 Co-op voucher  I then had to spend 12 mins on what is with Virgin, a premium rate number, trying to explain what had happened. Evenually, they went & checked the right till, & some money is being kept for me, though the CS lady wasn`t sure she could give me the Co-op voucher as it`s non scanable- unfair, to my mind, as it wasn`t my fault it wasn`t scaned properly. To make it worse, when I put my trolley back, I discovered that the £1 in there had dropped out...:mad: Because I was with my Mum, & it was hammering down, I didn`t bother to do anything about it. Got to drive back into town, to recover £3, but still another £3 down....v. cross!
