I cannot believe you don't want anymore chocs:( I'm still waiting for a response from Thorntons and so have esculated it to a claim to try and get money back. Did anyone else get some chocs on the Thorntons glitch just before christmas?
Get some coupons printed and go shopping or take something back to Tesco :D Blue has only been out using coupons once since I got back as I didn't want to loose my chilled out holiday mood by getting trouted:eek:
Anyway, Blue is going to the pub:beer:Try this comp whilst I'm gone, a lot seem to be winning ;)https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2896872

I just won a pair of Nike Football Boots...thanks Blue , this was one Daily Comp I had not done before....:j

Thanks for explaining. I was complaining about a much smaller matter . Thorntons were and still are misleading their customers with the size of the mint collections by adding the wrong price per 100g though they do not quote the weight . I think this makes it worse.
Good luck with your complaint , wish I had paypalled it now.

No it was the winter wonderland glitch https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2936396.
I was told quickly via email that I wasn't getting it and was getting 2 x chocoholic hampers instead, which even though they were £50 each so £20 less, decided it was still a good deal. I rang them the next day to see where my order was as I had paid for next day delivery and it hadn't been sent but they promised they would send that day. It was sent and rec'd next day by drwho (present for all the nosh etc) but she got this carp http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=39633968&postcount=283 which was nowhere near the amount and hasn't got much chocolate in it.
Luckily I paid by paypal, so immediately put in a claim as item not described and not delivered/sent next day and have just esculated it to a full claim with them. For once I am grateful that paypal are on the buyers side most of the time and am hoping will quickly get my money back. No response from thorntons so far though.

Now that I would pay a few coupons to see, Bully running around in her new footy boots:D:rotfl::rotfl:I haven't won anything yet, despite loads of trying, I'm hoping for a sports direct voucher.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

  • It is old Coupon Tilly here, you may not remember me but I had a massive crush on MAD!! I used to love stalking him:D

Anyway since Tesco stopped taking mocs I have no idea where to try shopping where they would take mocs without buying the product. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful;).

Tilly started a new business and became a Nanna for the first time on 1st december, it's wonderful but I want to buy him everything I see.

I would like to try again with mocs, but to be honest I didn't feel comfortable using them in Tescos as we used to have some awful trouts that would really embarrass me at times.

Any help would be much appreciated!:D

    Good morning MAD:) xxxx

Unfortunately you need to buy the product to use the moc wherever you go now. Your best hope is mocs that give you a free item and state the price on the barcode, but find the item on offer, giving you profit against your shopping.;)

Good to see you posting again. :)

  • Thanks to those who sent good wishes for DD. Was up all night with her and she really is rough. :(
Hoping she'll be on the mend a bit by tomorrow.

Awww, wishing her a speedy recovery.

And congrats to ThriftybyNature and Aleena99 on those new babies! :T

And Mad, we would love to see you running up and down the wing against our team some time soon when our postponed game is rearranged - are cycle clips allowed on the pitch though? :rotfl:

Sorry UM, must have missed that post, didn't know your DD was ill ( so many posts to read at the moment, need to try and catch up), seems to have been an awful lot of illness around, glad to hear she's on the mend....my son in law has been ill in bed for 4 days now, we never saw him Christmas Day...we're hoping it's plain old flu and not Swine Flu...but keeping away as we don't want it. A friends son in law said he felt soooo ill last week, but her daughter kept telling him to stop moaning as there was so much to do and she had one baby to look after , she could do without another one , thank you very much...., but he finally went to see the doc , she waited outside in the car and the doctor came out to fetch her as he had ordered an ambulance... he was admitted to hospital on Xmas Eve with Pleurisy...had to have an operation on Xmas Day 'cos of infection around his lung cavity....now he just keeps saying " I told you I was ill" !!! Men !!!
  • afternoon! Thank you for all your good wishes, and congrats to you Aleena. I visited my aunt on boxing day and received a goody bag from her - she is into comping in a big way - and was tickled to recognise lots of freebies from this site!
