Congratulations to TBN and Aleena on your new additions to the family :D

Hope those who are feeling rough get better soon :A

No shopping for Mad yesterday  Went to the football ground to help with the snow clearing. Was met by the mamager :)We took the first cover off and the pitch was frozen underneath :( Ref called the game off immediately. So we helped clear the ice and snow around the ground in the hope that things will thaw in time for Saturdays game. Mad was knackered at the end
Anyhoo, they took my name and number. No doubt they are considering giving Mad a game:cool:

I spoke to the manager ealier, its not that he going give u a game, he wants u go n do the same good job on Friday n Saturday - Enjoy

Morning all :D - congrats to TbN and Aleena.
Hope your DD is better soon UM.
Popped into S's yesterday but only used a 50p off Jarlsberg (not printable!) - got some cheddar too on BOGOF - don't like paying more than £5 a kilo for mature cheddar so liked this offer :)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Morning all - congrats to Tbn & Alena on their latest productions. BTW - how old do you think they have to be before you can introduce them to moccing? Maybe there should be a junior branch of the moccing club! lol

Sorry to hear about DD - UM. Hope she gets better soon.

I cannot believe you don't want anymore chocs:( I'm still waiting for a response from Thorntons and so have esculated it to a claim to try and get money back. Did anyone else get some chocs on the Thorntons glitch just before christmas?

I managed to get the glitch Blue - what was the problem with yours?
  • Went to Sainsburys yesterday and used 4 x Pringles coupons and 4 Finish ones. Was going to get some chicken Rustlers but offer finished and they are now £1.69 each.

Can't decide whether to go shopping again today, don't really need anything but got coupons that will go out of date if I don't.

    Will decide later.

    Method Laundry Detergent - £1.00 (exp 1 week, prints 2/bottom) [added 21/10/10]http://www.methodfrance.com/method-laundry-coupon

Offer ended (Shame, was going to give it a try seeing as on offer in S - Is it any good??)
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
  • It is old Coupon Tilly here, you may not remember me but I had a massive crush on MAD!! I used to love stalking him:D

Anyway since Tesco stopped taking mocs I have no idea where to try shopping where they would take mocs without buying the product. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful;).

Tilly started a new business and became a Nanna for the first time on 1st december, it's wonderful but I want to buy him everything I see.

I would like to try again with mocs, but to be honest I didn't feel comfortable using them in Tescos as we used to have some awful trouts that would really embarrass me at times.

Any help would be much appreciated!:D

    Good morning MAD:) xxxx

Merry Christmas from the USA!!!! Things starting to come together now I have a car. I have to jump through hoops to get a driving license though so hopefully will have that by the middle of Jan. but I'm able to drive on my British license so at least I'm able to drive around to apply for jobs. I have mixed feelings about my moving back home. I'm not so sure I did the right thing but there's no turning back so I have to just adjust. My dogs aren't allowed in the house because my Mom has a nasty cat (I like cats but this one is a real nasty thing and the nice cat has to stay outside, go figure!) so my poor babies have to be locked up in the lion's cage in the barn and it's cold out there! I'm looking forward to having my own house, hopefully the middle of Jan if all goes well with the house we have a deposit on, so my puppies can be back inside with me. It is great to be around my family and friends though. I'm still having my bad days, missing my beloved Hubby though. Yesterday was 31 years since he gave me a beautiful opal ring and asked me to marry him. I'm going to church on a regular basis now, haven't gone to church in years but I'm going to the one I used to go to when I was a kid/teenager. It is helping me cope with all I have to deal with. So enough about me! How are all of you? Coupons over here are really good!!!!! There is a cash and carry that let's you use their own coupons and manufacturer's coupons on the same item which is really good. There are stores that will automatically double some coupons. There's so many stores to go to, not just 4/5 major ones, so there is a lot of competition between them to get you to shop at their store. So far every store I've been in, except Dollar Tree (like the Pound Shop), will take coupons. The best thing is you don't have a trout telling you that you can't use a coupon because the item is on promotion! Well I guess I should get out of bed and see what my Mom is up to (just woke up so I wanted to say hi and Merry Christmas to y'all). I'll be in touch. I miss you all!!
hope all goes well for you and that 2011 will be a good year for you - you deserve some luck and happiness:)

Was this the mints collection glitch. I too contacted them by email but have had no reply. How have you escalated it to a claim? I thought they would have great customer service but they seem to ignore you.

Get some coupons printed and go shopping or take something back to Tesco :D Blue has only been out using coupons once since I got back as I didn't want to loose my chilled out holiday mood by getting trouted:eek:
Anyway, Blue is going to the pub:beer:Try this comp whilst I'm gone, a lot seem to be winning ;)https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2896872

No it was the winter wonderland glitch https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2936396.
I was told quickly via email that I wasn't getting it and was getting 2 x chocoholic hampers instead, which even though they were £50 each so £20 less, decided it was still a good deal. I rang them the next day to see where my order was as I had paid for next day delivery and it hadn't been sent but they promised they would send that day. It was sent and rec'd next day by drwho (present for all the nosh etc) but she got this carp http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=39633968&postcount=283 which was nowhere near the amount and hasn't got much chocolate in it.
Luckily I paid by paypal, so immediately put in a claim as item not described and not delivered/sent next day and have just esculated it to a full claim with them. For once I am grateful that paypal are on the buyers side most of the time and am hoping will quickly get my money back. No response from thorntons so far though.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
