Xbox live automatic renewal

Hi

I need to turn off automatic renewal on Xbox live before Microsoft take yet another £14.99 for 3 months!! :eek:

It seems to be virtually impossible. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you are having trouble via the XBox, go through their website instead. You can amend it in there (because thats how I add my voucher codes to stop them auto-renewing mine)

My OH has just done this but he had to call the XBox Helpline to get them to remove it - couldn't remove it from XBox.com

Or you buy a 12 month sub and enter the code and it shouldnt take any more money form you till after a year but easiest option is to call xbox and get it removed, oh and while your at it you might want to remove the card details from said xbox but this is up to you,

yes you have to call Xbox. They done mine for the £5 a month for 5 months after I stupidly took the one month special offer for Live £1 a month. I dont have the number to hand but I am sure it is an 0800 number. Check xbox live website and go to support. the number is there. A quick call and they will remove your payment sub without question. The auto renewal on/off has been removed from Xbox.com.

As it states in the account pages on Xbox.com -
