problems with some sites using my notebook

Hi guys i have a acer aspire one from a few years back on linux recently i have been having problems with some site,for example when i am on argos site i cant access the reviews of items,like teaco site i can add stuff to my basket but cant click on the basket or make my or complete my order nothing happens when i click on the basket,and the likes of sainsbury site i tried to order something or add something to a basket and it would not,its not on all site but just been some,any idea whats going on as i have use these sites before and ordered from them before on this same notebook no problems

What browser are you using?
Did you mean you've gone back to linux or its the linus that was on the machine initially?
If its firefox do you have NoScript installed?

I have no idea what i have,how do i find out?then maybe i can post on there what i have and be helped more i know its the same since i purchased it
