Not without any details mate;)0

Just put the details of the memory into Google and search for it? Or try Ebuyer, Dabs, Amazon etc? Memory is just like anything else, shop around for it.0

reinstall windows, then she won't need it!!

Try Orca Logic - I've used them a couple of times and found them not only much cheaper than Crucial but provided me a fast efficient service.0

thanx everyone will try out yr suggestions - as far as reinstalling windows, she bought this revamped pc off Fleabay a few yrs back & has no reinstallation CD to run0

What OS is is running?
How much RAM is currently installed?
How many free RAM slots?
How much RAM are you intending to install? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

What RAM was Crucial recommending.
Don't forget, the amount of memory they are offering you might not be waht you need. If you already have 1GB installed and they are trying to flog you 2x2GB it could be a bit of false economy really.
If you copy and paste what they are recommending it might help us help you more.
PS: If your fleabay computer is a few years old (I hope you did a reformat and re-install when you bought it, in case the seller was less than reputable with malware.......) then you also have to consider if it is 32bit or 64bit. If yours is only 32bit and Cruical are trying to sell you 4GB of RAM then its a bit of a swizz as your comptuer will only recognise 3GB of it.
Hence.... Computer Specs and/or Cruicial recommendations would be most helpful please....Signaller, author, father, carer.0
