Does anyone know if there's a way to turn off automatic updates?
I know people will say this is unwise, but I prefer to do updates at my own times and be in control of it.
Windows (7) updates is also annoying. I've found where you turn these off in Security Centre settings, but Windows periodically returns the setting to the default position.

MSE is updated via the MS update feature if you want to turn it of I'd advise uninstalling MSE and installing another like avast.0
