If you have a look at the url below, you will find London travel info for
visitors. On it you will find that your children qualify for free travel on the buses at any time. It is also a much better way to see London than by tube,
though I grant you the tube is often quicker.

Thinking of visiting Madame Tussauds on Wednes or Thurs with 2 children aged 5 and 9.
Do you think this is the place for Kids?
What are the queues like at around 11am.
How long does it take to look around?
Many thanks0 -
You could try London Duck Tours for your bus trip. It's an amphibious vehicle which drives round all the sights and then plunges into the water and goes a river cruise. It's a bit pricey but it really is worth every penny:

The London Aquarium is also really good for children of all ages. It's located at the back of the London Eye.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
You can see the Blue Man Group for £10 each via last minute.com, we are taking the skids to see it for a day out in London on Saturday.
(Saw the show in Vegas it is great!)
Life is sometimes a bit pants but occasionally you can wear your french knickers!

My MIL took us and kids (3 and 2) to Hamleys the other weekend. It was ok, not sure I'd particularly recommend that esp for your oldest but what I did want to say was that we ate in Pizza Hut, they do a Feast for 2,3 or 4 - that is 5.95 a head excluding drinks (but you adults can ask for tap water lol).
We ordered feast for 4 for 3 adults and 2 littlies and there was loads of food - garlic bread, potato wedges, any 2 more starters, medium pizza, large pizza, 4 desserts, and with couple of (free refillable) diet cokes it was £28 - bargain
we also did McDonalds on Oxford Street for lunch and it was fab, and I hate McD's!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
NSDs: 3
Walk to school: 2/47
Bloater challenge: £0/0lbs0
