Can't believe, the completion went through without any hickups. Been a long time coming, since 31st July when our offer was accepted and it was only us and them in the chain.
Sooooo happy, finally on the property ladder and paying just £20 more for a mortgage as apposed to renting for a bigger property.
Now just to move all the furniture in, so pleased we have 2 weeks though and can do it slowly, that definately is a bonus of completion before rental agreement ends.

We moved into our first home in 1976 from a council flat and did not give the notice in to the council until the sale had completed, so we had a month to move in, it makes all the difference.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Woo hoo!! I'm nearly at that stage, going to see my Solicitor on Monday to sign mortgage docs and contracts so hopefully i'll be moving into my first home in a few weeks.
I'm still living with my parents so I can also move in to my new home at my own leasure.
