Another IE question

Have the mother in laws laptop sat beside me:eek: Could be worse, could be the woman herself;)
Happily doing 19 windows updates.:j
Mail works fine.:j
IE gets
Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.
She normally uses dial up, but is currently connected by cable to my netgear router. Any ideas what's causing the message
She needs me to do the Norton Virus update, but it wont connect to the net either
I'm assuming IE and Norton have the same problem:D
