Formatting changed?

Hi,

I've noticed on comps board and on signatures since yesterday afternoon that alot of symbols etc have been replaced with ampersands !!!!! and digits,

My sig had musical notes and yesterday that changed to an Ampersand and digits like an ascii code.

A few comps links have appeared like this too.

I'm presuming the forum is being stripped back?

Could u confirm if that is the case, if not can I use this to alert u to this issue xxx

YES theres definitely a software problem with this site. Sometimes it cannot cope with apostrophies so we get a string of gobbledegook... Surely this can be fixed ???

Some " ` ' marks in older posts are being replaced by !!!8216; or !!!8217;
