HELP : card doing my head in grrrrrrrrgg

Hi

I cant use my Virgin Atlantic(american express card) I have checked there is
no problem with the card. I was wondering if someone can point out what I am doing wrong I am using it on HMV website


Card Holder Joe Bloggs
Card Type American Express
Credit Card Number
Security Number * 4 Digs on front of the card as it says

Last 3 digits on the back of your card in the signature strip. American Express cards have a 4 digit code.

Expiry Date : - i put the valid thru date

Issue Number
Start Date * no start date stated so not filled
(If switch w/o issue number)
Expiry Date *
Issue Number *

(If switch with issue number)

I Have put this through som many times on the HMV website

I am out of my mind can anyone help:mad:

They may not take Amex at all online - check the payment options on the site before trying again.

I have just checked and it does list American Express as one of the cards it takes.

the thing is i cant get it to accept my card

has anyone else had problems with VIRGIN ATLANTIC on line paying

I've used my Amex online at HMV with no problems.

i work with credit cards, the best thing to do is 1st of all contact your issuer & they will be able to advise what the problem is, it may be that a authority code is required therefore you are doing nothing wrong.

If they advise that there is nothing they can see try contacting them directly (The Site) they sould be able to tell you if there are any site issues. alternativley try another site - you may find what your after cheaper elsewhere!

i have contacted the card issuer my card is fine and what i am doing is correct
i guess HMV dont want my money

oh well
