Eat fresh at subway - extra ingredient in my sub

I'm just really annoyed and can't sleep because I keep thinking about the sub I purchased tonight, there was a large dead fly at the end of my sandwich mixed in with with the salad. I already ate 2/3rds of the sub and it really knocked me sick when I saw it.

I contacted the store to complain , the manager was not very sympathetic and just suggested that I could have a free sub tomorrow.

I don't want to eat there again

What I'm asking is, what is the best course of action to get a decent apology and a refund

Tell them you are going to take the fly and Sub to the newpapers... so you want your money back!

If they give you a £5 apology you will even give them the sub back!

Subways are franchises though. First off Id go back and tell them you want a refund and an apology.
