Go to UPDATE tab in malwarebytes, click CHECK FOR UPDATES then run a FULL SCAN. Remove everything it finds and post log here again.
Restart computer.
Download HijackThis 2.0.4 - FileHippo.com Download and Install. Press the top button which will produce a log. Post that here.0 -

True about the database version but I didn't want to risk not saying it, as the OP may read it tomorrow etc.
But I would still run a full scan as things do get missed on the quick scan...0 -

Not in my experience, the full scan is only usefu if there is something lurking elsewhere rather that the running system.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -

I'm not that technically knowledgeable but I have seen many things not being caught on the quick scan. I think it's a worthy thing to do especially on the second run of malwarebytes, as you can say to a certain degree that the computer should be clean from most things, if the logs are clean. Think we will have to agree to disagree!0 -

Think you need to read this, link originally posted by Browntoa.

I have seen that and often thought the quick scan was suitable and used to just run quick scans. But I have seen cases where the quick scan didn't pick up various things even on these boards. So, I still ask for a full scan. Better to be safe than sorry - and running a full scan after a quick scan isn't that much of a problem.0

I dont care what the developers claim, ive found more trojans etc doing FULL scans after quick scans on quite a few computers now (Way more than 0.01%):idea:0
