Probably going to be one of many posts around here now IE7 is out of beta.
Hope someone can advice.
Just installed IE7, restarted and everything looked fine. Decided to have a play. Opened it up and it seems I'm missing tabbed browsing, bookmarks, and pretty much everything besides the forward and back buttons and the refresh button.
Anyone know how I can change the view to have the home, stop buttons ect? I the option is there to change the view I can't find it.
It's probably really simple but I can't figure it out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rev,
I installed IE7 as well a while ago and couldn't get rid of the dam thing. Wiped my machine in the end to get rid of it.
Have you looked on google groups for help ?

I would recomme that you uninstall it restart and install again with you virus scanner off. Sometimes setup programs need access to files that virus scanners are running. If it does not work tell us and I will look into it for you.0

Yep. though you might want to go to tools/internet options/general tab and click settings on the tabbed browsing area and see what's selected first.

I'm planning a reformat on Sunday that's why I installed it now. So if I don't like it I can just wipe it like that. I use Firefox most of the time but thought I'd give it a look.
Haven't tried the google groups, but have searched google.Sigless0 -

Tabbed browsing is enabled. I have to the IE7 properties via my control panel as there is no 'tools' in the IE menu bar.Sigless0 -
There is, its just its hidding. Right Click on the top where the tools should be then select "Menu Bar". And the Menu/Tool bar is there.0

I tried that, when I click there nothing happens at all. I've clicked pretty much everywhere and the only thing the pops up is the 'Minimise, maximise' tools.Sigless0 -

Just done that now, still no change.Sigless0 -

Sounds silly i know, but disable tabs and see what happens (this is MS software after all).............
I'm having a bit of read, apparently google toolbar and helper can be an issue and so can addons (disable addons to check).
