Electoral Role worries

I hope the original poster won't mind but I have my own electoral roll based question. Thought I'd put it in here rather than starting another thread.
I've just checked my Equifax credit file and they incorrectly have my previous address listed as being my present address. It says I'm registered on the electoral roll at this old address (which I was). But I moved 9 months ago and have written confirmation from my local Council that confirms I was registered at the correct address in June. I've contacted Equifax to request that my details are changed.
Anyone else had this? How long did it take them to correct it? and will they back date it to show me being on the E.roll from June? I hope this won't affect my chances of being accepted for credit.0 -
