Firewalker totally rocks. I love her. You have good taste. If you have time you are welcome to post on 3dogs' thread. It is a welcome place for everyone so feel free to post anytime. Look out for trolls though. They are a bit inbred and pop on occasionally but are always deleted by the abuse team who totally rock.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Well it's been a couple of weeks since my last post and things were looking good. Untill the other week, i had a dodgy stomach bug that ked to two days of work.
Which in turn led to me losing close to £100 in this weeks wages (paid in the 10th Dec).
Now this kind of wasn't a major problem as I have discovered recently a bank account that has (after checking today close to £500 in it). So my thoughts were to ring up today and transfer some money from that account to my main account to cover my losses.
Unfortunately I no longer have a debit card for the account and i cannot remember the telephone banking password for the account as I have never really used the facility before. This also means I cannot use online banking as it uses a debit card in a security device thing.
Anyway, I got access to my account on the phone by answering all the security details like date of birth, certain transactions and security question. I could check the balance and that was it as i didn't have my card number (don't have one) or my 5 digit password (don't remember it). He said I would have to do it with my debit card (again i don't have one) and a photo I.D in a bank branch.
Now I have a passport and thats it. My thinking is that if I take my passport, my last months statement, a utility bill in my name and a wage slip this will be enough. Can any-one tell me if it wil be enough and if so so I just go to the cashiers desk or go to customer support desk and explain that I don't have a card etc etc?

It's not savings as such. Just money I didn't know I had. I really wanted to try and not touch it all but oh well desperate times means desperate measures lol.0 -
Yay. My estimation of Barclays Bank has gone up ever so slightly.
I managed to get my money.
I had to go through about three people answering all my security questions each time but eventually I got the cash. Thank god.
On a side note the premier league trophy was there with Robbie Savage having free photos and autographs done. If I was a football fan, or had more time (I had to go back to work) I would've had my photo done and signed. As it is I just snapped a couple of photos on my phone whilst in the qeue.

Glad you were able to access your money. The security protection banks put us through is an inconvenience but it is there to protect us too.
No idea who Robbie Savage is or about football but well done in having an entertaining and eventful visit to the bank.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
