Advantis credit . Why are they ringing me?

Hi,
For the last five days I have been left an answer phone message from this company. They say I need to ring them urgently on a 0845 number.
I googled them and they are a debt recovery agency.
The thing is I don't owe any money to any company. Nothing, zilch not a penny.
I have been at work each time they have rung, I don't want to ring them back due to the costs and the fact I don't owe too anyone.

How did they get my number and why don't they write to me?

Probably trying all similar names and hoping to get a hit. If you're certain you owe noone then ignore them. The worst that can happen is you get a letter from them.

If your so confident you dont owe them anything why dont you just contact them use this number instead 01782 400400.

This is MSE, why waste the phone call. If they are really interested they'll write.

I agree with stclair if they dont owe anything why dont you just ring. If your so bothered about the calls.

The reason I am not ringing is simple, as I said I am not spending money and time on a 0845 number, now I have a 01782 number, thanks to stclair I will see what they want.
