Help!

I can't find any forum section for this, but I seriously need to know who governs the Social Services?

Example, Ofcom are the company you go to if your get no where with your phone companies complaints/customer services.

I emailed a person at Social Services for the contact details of someone and that person gave me then but also told the person in question I was going to complain about them, he then spoke to my mom about it (her social worker) wheres the confidentuality.

I seriously need to complaint about this social worker due to other problems throughout me and my moms life. I honestly don't think he should even be working anymore, when I was 12 years old he sent me a very nasty email that was like a slap in the face blaming me for all my mothers problems (she has a mental illness and was in debt). A 12 year old!! My foster parents at the time were so mad but we don't know who to complain to who is above him, I don't want the backlash on me or my mother as he still deals with her.

He's still blaming me and by controlling my mothers finances he's destroying our christmas as my mom stays here and pays for the food because she can do on her benefits where I'm on £80 a fortnight and for that one week I wouldn't be able to afford to support two people, she's only here a few days but he's even stopping her from buying any sort of presents atm, I have a sister who has two kids and we have more family mom wants to buy for.

Eugh, I'm at my witts end, I just want them to sort him out, why should I constantly need to battle with my mom because he's trying to sufficate our relationship because he hates who I am. I do everything for her, I travel 1 1/2 hours a week (with my boyfriends car) to buy her food and such as she can't walk atm due to a knee problem. I suffer with Agoraphobia and it's so very hard on me and my boyfriend does it out the goodness of his heart but I get the black sheep marker from her other supporters (social).


All in all, I just need the companies name if there is one please help, he's even giving me nightmares!

Thank you, I'll give it a try, it's the least I can do since I haven't even a idea on how to complain without him getting it to deal with it.

Call your local govenrment office and ask for the name of the Head of Social Services and the details of the Complaints Procedure.

Your mother has the right to ask to be assigned to another case worker, if she wishes to do so. You must follow their procedure first though. Does she has a mental health worker too? Have either of you been assessed? I know how difficult those services can be to access, but it is worth trying, if you can.
