Thanks all, glad it's not just me. I did think it might be a VM issue, but I cannot, for the life of me, find any service status updates from Virgin at all. Not only that, but I'm having problems accessing their page.
The irony.

Just seen some posts on the VM board - looks like VM have denied the problem all day, and actually told users to get their PCs checked out by the manufacturers!!! What a joke! No updates or information were posted by anyone at VM.
Thankfully I can now access all the sites!
Thank you all for taking the time to reply to me.

To be fair to Virgin I've been with them for years and I very rarely have any problems. Yes, the customer service is a bit poo but I never find myself having to ring them.0

That's my experience; I almost never have a problem, but when I do the service is crap.
I nearly moved to O2 for the £7.50 deal, but my property has never had a BT line installed so I'd have to fork out £125 for that first. Not worth it!
I have a 'for life' deal with VM, so it's not worth moving it, really.
