Thank you, I have been looking at the register and it is still down until the 24th, why is it wise to wait 3 months? Only I thought as the register states you are discharged if you have any hassle you could point the in that direction. MBNA, Barclays and Freemans are the only ones not marked correct on mine Freemans being the worst, they seem to have me down twice one account says settled in April, the other is defaulted in June, are they allowed to do that?
If you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j

It will take a while for the discharge to filter through all the creditors, so instead of writing to everyone usually it is best to wait a couple of months for most to update and then just write to the ons that have not done it

Exactly. No point spending time and money sorting out things that may not need it in a couple of months time. There's no huge rush anyway.

hi, Now...the sequence of events usually is...the IS site marks us down as 'discharged'...then after around 3 months, our details disappear entirely from the IS site..[good idea, once the 'discharged' annotation has appeared, to print off a coupla dozen copies of this page..for future use and reference]

After that it's 'clean-up' time..something I have yet to digitus extractus over.

  • I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the IS site. I received Early Discharge on the 11th Oct, during the first period the IS site was down. The site came back online after a week or so, still showing me as Bankrupt, but I figured I'd be patient and give them time to update my details. But nothing changed. I emailed them a few times - no response whatsoever. And now the site's down again. *sigh*

I really want my status on the site to change so I can, as alastairq suggests, print off copies of the page... at this rate I'll probably disappear off the site without ever actually being changed to Discharged.

It's just frustrating that they don't even respond.

    Hi confuzzled

We emailed our OR for proof of discharge and they sent out letters stating our discharge from BR and the date etc. I can just photocopy this now for proof if needed when I start credit file clean up.

Might be worth a try as you are having no luck with the site!

Unfortunatly, the site runs of the systems that the OR has in their offices, so it is likely that if one is not working then the ther probably isnt to
