And why did they clamp this car?
No doubt because he hadn't paid debts whilst running around with a 10k car and thousands of pounds worth of posessions that could have settled the relativly small debt in comparison.

No one comes out of this well.

    As P t P says ^^

Especially the clampers who have £17.5K of unpaid CCJ,s

Huh? They can't clamp for a debt.

What are you on about you fool.

There is no debt here only an alleged debt. For it to be a debt the clamper would have to go to a court of law, win and the loser not pay.

MrRedundant, no surprise there. Presumably the redundancy is in the thought process.

  • The point I'm making is nowhere does it say that he was clamped for parking reasons; he could have been clamped in relation to another debt which they where trying to collect by clamping his car. It's a fairly common occurrence on those bailiff type programmes that where floating about a few years ago.

The laws may have changed but I am sure it doesnt stop a few clamping to collect other debts

Of course maybe it was a parking dispute but my reading is there is more to this situation than a parking company clamping a car for a parking "offence"

I've not seen any evidence of that. Just a normal clamping, from what I've read.
  • Read the rest of the thread and you will see nothing is said or even inferred that there is any reason to believe that there is anything other than the theft and sale of the OP's car. To go off on a tangent imagining all possible scenarios is a real waste of time.

May I just point out that it wasn't my car that was clamped:o
I don't and have never driven. However, that doesn't stop me getting pizz angry for the chap. I only know from what I've read on the web-site and do not have access to the printed article in the Evening Echo.

If I was the owner of that car I would find the clampers/company owners and make them pay. Some GBH/ABH/attempted murder charges would probably be worth it.

Can they not take the landowner to court? Then the landowner can obviously reclaim any costs from LBS as LBS pay all their debts (not).
Units 1 & 2 Totman Close, Brook Rd Industrial estate. Rayleigh. SS3 9QU....along with FCE bailfiffs who work for southend council collecting parking fines and towing vehicles away...might also want to look out for gold toyota hilux plate M666 FCE...

Mark Stone of LBS Enforcement is driving a black Range Rover registration BG58 RNV

The silver 4x4 belongs to Matthew Boosey and the registration is EJ10 LYN
By the way! Anyone with a CCJ and needs an address for the bailiffs; then here it is:

    Matthew Boosey
    33, Sandringham Road
    SOUTHEND-ON-SEA
    ...SS1 2UQ

Not a PO box or a tin shed!

This is Matthew Boosey of LBS Enforcement's home address!
Gleaned from Facebook group Stop Wheel Clamping

Let me guess the Police would prosecute for this http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/2317095.clamper_tells_of_attack_ordeal/

I dont think we know the whole story.........I dosent explain why he was clamped if he was "legally" parked, did he owe other parking fines, etc.
And who leaves his Full wallet, House Keys, Laptop,Sat Nav in his car when parked, Oh and I forgot his Grans Disabled Badge..........now why would he want that, I wonder?
