Santander - Do I qualify as Existing Customer?

Can anyone tell me please whether I am an existing Santander customer, holding only ISA's with them.

I want a 13 month balance transfer credit card from them - but not if they are going to charge me 3%

They seem unable to tell me directly !!!

Depends if you pass their credit scoring

I wouldn't bother, their customer service is rubbish.

You are sooo right about their customer service !!
I looked on the website to see if I could find the answer first, then trawled through their "frequently asked questions". When I didn't find the answer there, I thought I'd ring them - automated system, took me through a process of voice recognition questions, none of which it was able to recognised (is it because I'm a Geordie?? I didn't think my accent was that bad!)..it then requested my 16 digit customer reference number, which of course I don't have as I don't have a current account...so it cut me off. I then e-mailed customer support, who sent me lots of noreply e-mails saying they were dealing with my request then one thanking me for my enquiry and telling me to look on the website, with a lovely helpful link to their website. I then e-mailed them straight back, with the reference number to which they had assigned my enquiry, stating that the whole point of me contacting them was, as I had indicated already, that it wasn't on their website and their automated system wouldn't let me in. I then again got lots of little e-mails telling me they were dealing with my enquiry, then one thanking me for my enquiry, and stating that they would deal with it if I would explain what the enquiry was..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......I give up!!!!
The whole point is that I don't want to make the application for the card if it isn't the deal I want, as it means a credit check, which will not do my credit score any good. I think I might just give up and apply somewhere else.
