Bravissimo

Options
I would just like to share my experience of Bravissimo customer service which has just been first rate.

I ordered some bras from their website over a week ago, and according to the email I got and the fact that my card had been debited, my order was despatched last Thursday. On Wednesday when I still hadn't recieved anything I rang them up, and dealt with a lovely lady who looked into my account for me and said that my order had definitely been despatched and they'd look into it for me. Over the next two days they've spent considerable time contacting my local Royal Mail despatch office to see if it's being held there, but to no avail. I recieved several phone calls during this time from them to keep me informed of what was happening.

I've just had another phone call from them to say that as they are still unable to make contact with my despatch office and so as they don't want me to wait any longer they're sending me out full replacements today by recorded delivery.

Every person I have dealt with in this company has been polite and extremely helpful and they have genuinely done everything they can to sort things out for me. I've never had a problem with delivery from them before but now I have, I can say that they have managed to turn it into a pleasant experience for me! First rate customer service!

I agree I think Bravissimo have got it spot on in terms of their customer service. I haven't ordered online but been to the store (Manchester) and they do go out of their way to make the whole experience great, without any of the sickly-sweet sales pitch. Eg in the changing rooms they provide a robe and also a white t-shirt so you can see the look of your bra under clothing. The assistants' product knowledge is great and they are always happy to help getting different sizes etc. On my last visit, when I showed the assistant in the changing room my choice of bra to buy she said "oh that one's fab- look I've got that one too!" and promptly pinged her shoulder strap out to show me! Really made my day that!

My only hope is, that as the company grows they still retain this ethos. Fingers crossed...
  • I would agree. As a bloke who is lucky to have a wife who goes to Bravissimo, they make it easier for us too. Normally I'd feel like a bit of a perv being in a shop full of bras and knickers, but they have big couches and proper blokey type magazines to peruse while the womenfolk try on their unmentionables. They've also always replaced any bra that we've bought that has got damaged (a couple of them have torn on the fastenings or had wires pop out) with no fuss and great service.

  • Yup, they are ACE. I've ordered loads of stuff from them. Their "returns" department are great too. Just got the new catalogue through today, and I can feel a spending spree coming on!

Another vote for a East Central Scotland store here too! Shall we start petitioning them??!!

  • totally agree, my sister who got everyone's share in the dept, has always shopped there, after a boozy hen weekend in Chester, when we got home obviously 3 more of us piled in to the Manchester store to be "measured", I went because sis needed a new bra, any excuse to shop, when she talked me into getting my top off, I was amazed to walk out 2 sizes bigger in cup size instead of chest, than I'd been buying I binned my old bras on the way out and havnt looked back since, excellent store, online & in store - - - spread the word

I too got the new cat' today -

Just thought I'd add my experiences here.

Had two very different shopping experiences on saturday.

Firstly I went into debenhams to shop for a dress for the gf.
Was made to loiter outside the changing rooms (feeling and looking like a pervert, with women in the queue giving me dirty looks accordingly - thankfully there were two other guys there doing exactly the same thing, so wasn't suffering alone), then the gf would have to come out into the store to show me, go back in etc etc.

Secondly, I went to bravissimo, had a seat well away from the changing rooms, read a blokey mag (as above), staff called me over when the gf wanted to show me etc. Just 100x better.

Needless to say where I'll be taking her shopping in the future.

I'm really pleased I found this thread, 'cos yesterday I was looking on the net for a new bra and happened upon the Bravissimo site.

They have a shop in Leeds (not far from me) and for the first time ever, I'm going to pluck up the courage to go for a proper fitting. I wouldn't have dared without your comments on the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Thank you all.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

They are very good. They are honest and tell you when something doesn't fit you, even if it means they loose the sale. Most of the time, their knowledge is spot on and they come back with a perfect bra for you.

Another one here to praise them - the staff are all women who understand what is it like to be D+ and are very pleasant. My husband likes the men's waiting area too...:D
