ok update and more questions im afraid.

Item arrived on the 13th but seller didnt refund so i escalated the claim and have been awaiting ebays final desision. The seller hadnt made any contact until yesterday. I got an email to my private account (not through ebay)

I initially thought this might just be a ploy to get me to close the case and then they could pull a fast one and i end up with no item and no money so i ignored it. Today ive just recieved another massage

I am waiting on paypal approving another bank card of mine which could take a few days but another option is I can transfer the money direct through my alliance and leicester online bank account. If you are ok doing this out with the paypal method then please give me your account number and sort code please.

I really dont now what to do??? Is this safe? I despretley need the money back so i can buy another one but i dont want to chance my bank account being emptied by a scammer

Personally I would just hold off and let it go through paypal. Atleast that way you are covered. xx

It isnt paypal that ive escalated the claim with, its with ebay themselves thats doing it. ive had such a bad feling from day one with this and am scared if i dont accept this offer im never gonna see my money again which will then equal one very upset daughter. Would the seller be able to freely access my bank acount if they have my account number/sort code?

Not sure on the ebay side but there is nothing they can do with your accout with the details they have asked for. They were always on cheques when we had them hth
