Can i change gas supplier?
I am currently paying British Gas £45 per month by direct debit. This is for the gas i currently use and about 9 months supply in arrears.
We've seen that BG has increased it's prices by 7% despite Centrica making a half billion pound profit.
Can i change gas supplier even though I owe arrears to British Gas? If so can i still pay British Gas the arrears by monthly DD?

No you cannot they would demand a ful and final payment before you switch.
Just out of interest what do you think the other suppliers profits where ? its not just BG who make money you know.
