Please explain why you think £40 is expensive for a wheel when others say otherwise?0

Thanks alot for all your responses.
I will be happy to just get the wheel fixed and for him to pay the £40 (or whatever it turns out to be). Halfords is where I bought the bike but it is one of the mid range ones (£400) and the wheel he quoted me for was like for like.
One more thing though, how would I go about getting the money. I am not being funny but would I have to give him my home address. Seems a bit nervy, having him pop round to give me money.???
Thanks
