Landlord Insurance & Emergency Cover

Hi,

I am looking to rent my first property and will need landlord insurance. The estate agent said they could provide me with a qoute from their prefered agent but I'm sure it won't be the cheapest. I would also like a 'home emergency' cover for any repairs.

Can anyone please give me details/experiences of any companies?

Thank You

That one that Beeny advertises on the Telly. If its reccomended by the High Queen of Property then it must be good.

Try Direct Line (I think it's their business part of the website) - you can see details of the different policies and check whether they suit

Try Alan Boswell - discount on premiums available if you are signed up to LL law , NLA or RLA.

Emergency Cover does not cover "all repairs" it only covers what the Insurers define as being an emergency

Alan Boswell in Norwich do excellent landlords policies. If you are a member of National Landlords Association you get cheaper premiums, as well as a Really useful service from NLA.
