After searching around for a £400ish Laptop , I think i'm gonna go for this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/118198
Does anyone think it's a decent buy....or not?
What website is best to get it from?

I got this one from Currys for £350 (with vouchers from Virgin CC - saved 13%) because I could pick it up at shortish notice.
As to what website? Whatever you feel comfortable with and have used before. Ebuyer are usually good.- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0 -

I saw that one too... Only difference I can see is that the shared graphics are lower and the HDD bigger. Have I missed anything?
The only real worry I have is that a couple of the reviews mention that the memory is almost totally used up before you even start.0 -
We have always had acers and generally really pleased with them. The only thing I would say is definitely get the extended insurance. We had 2 needed repair, (one was my sons fault and we had the accidental warranty), the one with the extended warranty was back to us within 5 days, the other took 4 weeks. Their aftersales can leave a lot to be desired but on the whole we have only needed to use them 3 times in 5 years of owning acers.0

Looks like a decent m/c for the price.
Cheaper at http://www.technoworld.com/category.asp?category=220&source=html - £384. Just Google the manufacturer's no.0
