My daughter has to fill a jam jar for school. They gave an idea of a snow globe or some fishes in water to create a fish tank.
Any other ideas as to what we could do?

midnight - thats a brilliant site:T
The other year I used the 'secret dad's safe' to do 'secret jars' for all the family...........one for sons girlfriend I filled with dried beans and she keeps it in the kitchen for the spare car keys, sons I filled with raw plugs, grandaughter had hair bobbles in hers and grandson had marbles..........so they all had a secret place to keep something.
Come to think of it, I could have done with one for myself...............lol:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

At my childrens school we do a 'Jarbola' at christmas and summer, we ask the children to fill jam jars-
95% have sweets in:)
but we have also had- Chalk, balloons(not blown up!), paper clips, marbles, candles, felt shapes for collage, hair bobbles, rubbers.0 -
I did one with my little boy last year, we filled an old jam jar with small toy cars and then labelled it up as 'traffic jam'0

Greenfingers............love that idea..............foster daughters husband is car mad and it'd be a good 'novelty' pressie to add to his bits and pieces.
I've filled a jar with plum coloured bedsocks for my friend and stuck a label on saying 'Sock Jam'..........had enough free fabric pieces to pick out a little cover for the top.
Amazing what you can do with a jar.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

How about a jar full of air and say it's a hug jar or something like that?0

Can it be edible? How about filling it with jam (just to be original)? Or something like home made sweeties?
Failing that, I would look in places like Wilkos and pound shops for inspiration.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
