    Thank you for such a informative answer!
    Just a query- is it also a legal requirement for the employer to notify the local job centre of any forthcoming redundancies? (as we have checked and they haven't!)
    Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!
  • They need to inform the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills via a HR1 form BUT only if they are planning on making 20 or more redundancies (within a 90-day period).
    Hoping the comping fairy is nice this month and the postman comes.
