Do ebay really care and what to do next?

Some of you guys may remember that I had a problem with a seller that refused to send an item, I presume because it didn't go for very much, but the guy was getting very aggressive.

Link to original post

I have opened a dispute against the buyer, but i had to o a paypal dispute and the guy has already made a refund so I not sure it is worth esculating this into a full claim.

I Have managed to get the awful feedback he left for me, removed. He as now aksed for a mutual withdraw of feedback which there is no i am going to aggree with.

What now? I feel like ebay don't really care about the abusive emails he has sent, and that he s gonna we allowed to continue to o this to others. Do ebay really care how its buyers get treated?

As it's not for a very large amount, there's not much point in going down legal routes.

Just make sure he gets landed with a non-performing seller strike.

I've had abusive emails through ebay before and reported them all to ebay and they did absolutely nothing. The person doing it was my ex and someone off this board (thanks you know who you are) gave him my ebay details. Obviously someone with a sad life and nothing better to do. Anyway, ebay did nothing and the guy is still buying and selling on ebay.

Just a point really, you cant do a paypal chargeback as he has refunded, and assuming he refunded correctly and returned the original payment there is nothign further that paypal can do. If the seller refunded incorrectly and just made a new payment then you should not be proceeding anyway as that would be fraud.

I have no intention of continuing with this, it is just everytime I tried to file a dispute againt the seller, it kept taking me to paypal as that is how I paid! I have also emailed ebay but again they direct me to paypal!

All I can see it that the seller has really covered his back on this one. He has refunded the cost so there is no way I can file a dispute against him, ebay don't seem to mind the abusive language as long as it is done behind closed doors, so to speak, so this guy is gonna be free to intimidate others.
