The Recycling Factory - anyone used it?

  • BEWARE i recently tried to contact this company regarding a phone i sent in for recycling and have not be able to get hold of them. The phone number given on the website is no longer connected so beware. the appropriate authories have been informed.

    The number is working fine - I've just rung them and it was answered on the third ring :)
    Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

  • Ive used it for a year or two because it donates part of its proceeds to the MS Society which I support.

    However it seems rather dilitary over requests for resupplies of envelopes for print cartridges.

    Why bother trying to get money back, given that checking and approving cartridges, phones etc. for reuse is out of your control, and it's about relatively small amounts of money? Either reuse what you can within your control, like getting cartridges refilled locally, or just donate the things using a freepost envelope from your favourite charity (which may go to the Recycling Factory anyway).
