Front Door Lock

It seems when you put the door key in the lock from the inside of the house it doesn't go in smoothly as it should and when you take the key out, you have to take it out slowly its like its seizing. The key lock from the front of the door is fine. Has anyone experienced anything similiar if so what did you do.
Thanks,

Possibly when the lock was fitted it wasn't done square, it's a slight angle and so the key doesn't go in straight.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
