You missed the point of this exercise. It was developed specifically as a means of a thankyou to all those that took the time to contribute the numbers for this competiton. Thus the reason why only those that contribute have access!!

...and if it helps someone win then all the better!

...and if you had asked I have thanked "dontknow1" for his work almost every day since we started this venture (by PM)!

The only thing that bugs me about this interactive spreadsheet (and that i've only just thought of now ha) is that we don't know who the codes were used by. It wouldn't matter obviously if they were losers, but say right now, ehsan won a couple of minutes ago, i checked the spreadsheet quickly to see if the code he used (3332) had already been used, and it had been as it was coloured. So now i don't know if it had been used before by another person, or if he was the one that updated it. Cos if it was another person, then their rule of each prize being allocated a code doesn't apply then surely? Does anyone understand what i'm trying to say? Lol, feel really sleepy.

true but the only way to do that is for people to get them selves a google docs account and we make it by invite only, which aphorism was avoiding as he didnt want people worrying he had a huge list of email address

maybe a thought in future as im sure there will be another time a spreadsheet will be needed

Willmer** posted the code 3332 yesterday at 10.15am.

I was just thinking that perhaps as they are releasing new codes they are using codes already entered which were losers.

we are still granting access to those that have been on mse years..let alone those just joined. unfortunately it takes time there is a 1 minute delay between pms you can send.. [STRIKE]I am[/STRIKE]

EDIT: I have now i believe granted access to all those that have asked who belive the code list will help them.

and lots of people have started requesting access who only joined mse today since the codes list was removed...

since it is interactive there are various reasons for not giving access to someone joining mse today (which i hope they understand) and the spreadsheet after all is not my work.....and i respect the wishes of the person who created it, after all it saves me a lot of time updating post 3 as markfezzer pointed out

my work was simply collating the numbers and posting in post 3 and the today spending time transferring the remainder of the codes tried over to the sheets

I simply can not see why people who have not contributed would expect to use it... after all its not on mse it is separate to it..for those that have helped in creating it who i have wholeheartedly thanked for their codes throughout....something not many people do.

EDIT : I think we all should take a big look at what we have done ourselves to contribute to mse as a whole before we criticise others on the efforts they are doing to try to help others.
