Not necessarily the case - it depends on future choices you might make in life.0 -

My LL has been subsidising my deposit stash, so I'm actually very grateful to them.
I remember the feeling the day I purchased my first home , I just want you, and people like you, to experience that very same feeling. :cool:0 -

I remember the day my rent was less than the mortgage interest would have been - oh wait, that was about 3 weeks ago and will happen again in a week or 2. I put the spare cash in my deposit pile. :cool:0 -

Home ownership is not a dream for me. Something that in the end will be the cheapest and most secure way of keeping a roof over our heads. But at the moment renting is cheaper and if anything our LL needs us more than we need him.
I'm just glad our LL is willing to continue contributing to our deposit while we skip multiple rungs on the housing ladder and watch house prices decline. :cool:0 -
