I was wondering the same thing.

Perhaps the staff member sprayed it just as OP's husband turned corner to enter the toilet?
sorry, i should probably have said, as hubby came out the cubical, the staff member was spraying it at face hight straight at the cubical door

personaly i would have sprayed it into the air, but the kid only looked about 18, maybe he's never sprayed air freshener before, teenagers arn't exactly know for cleaning rooms are they, maybe the store need to give spraying lessons:rotfl::rotfl:

hubby is 100% fine, and we have been having a really good laugh at how stupid the situation was

Accidents happen, and OP seems happy with the result. Is that not all that matters in the thread?

Isnt it strange, (strange but nice) that there are so many ambulance chasers for compensation for literally cut fingers or something trivial and then you get the genuine ones who just get up and on with it, just taking one day off.

My DH has worked in a creamery for many years and was nearly crushed to death by a peice of machinery that someone was told to swithc off but didnt, luckily someone was near at hand to hit the Red button. She suffered terribly with pains across the bottom of her stomach and soft tissue damage and she just got up and got on with it.

Good for you. So in that case, take the vouchers.

    Good luck.

Make sure the incident was logged in the store's accident book, OP.
