Industrial Injury Disablement Benefit

I've gotta have a medical by ATOS(lol) regarding this benefit, are they the same with these ones as they are with every other?

Ive supplied all the needed stuff to the DWP and they have contacted who they needed to (my work) and they are satisfied that my accident was an industrial one,

so will atos do another report of lies or not?

probably. but that's just my experience. then again, even the tribunal turned me down and it was all a bit of carp really. Out for blood! I should have been perfectly entitled to it but there was just no way they were going to give it to me. God help you, I hope it's not a 'back problem'. :o

nah its not a back problem, but with how they lied on my ESA report im not holding my breathe.
  • A friend of mine had Industrial Injuries awarded for life, first time.
She did'nt have any problems whatsoever,so I suppose it just depends on the ailment realy.
By the way hers was a spinal injury.

    Hi
My husband has just started recieving Industrial injurys benefit. The medical isnt the same as ESA. They just go through the information you supplied and ask how it effects your day to day life. They don write a report as such just a statement of what you have said which you get to read then sign.

The Doctor we saw asked about our ESA claim and when we said it was on appeal he said oh yeh ESA 'guidelines' are awful which is why I refuse to take part in ESA medicals any more IIDB is much more straight forward.

Considering that two decision makers and an independent Tribunal found against you, I would guess you are not perfectly entitled to it!

oh shut up. You always have to be the one to say something nasty and not needed. and NO they were wrong actually.

How rude! Can you explain how those who know the system inside out were all wrong, and you were right? Maybe I missed your expertise that makes you more knowledgeable than a Tribunal panel? :rotfl:

geez can we say need to find the ignore button? Yes, small minded uptopian, things always work as they are supposed to, especially when it comes to the government and benefits......

So you can't answer my question? Nope, didn't think you could. :p

Edit: As you can't read my post anyway, could I suggest it is incredibly dangerous to post your personal details on your website?
