Probably would be, if you had a backup to restore from, but probably not in this case - particularly as you don't have NTFS. The HDD's root cannot be empty. The PC's whole file system sits in there! For SliTaz to boot, there must be a number of files there that are Linux-specific. To be clear I'm referring not to the directory called /root, but the root itself, where you get to if you open a file manager - while running from HDD, not from CD - to show your desktop, and then keep hitting the up arrow until you get to / (which is the root directory). Don't forget to select View and "show hidden".0
