Are you using kWh annual consumption estimates and not monthly DD figures on the comp sites? The first is accurate, the latter is not.

Well ive not actually had a bill at all so its all completly estimated. Ive roughly calculated how much usage ive used over the last few months so im just doing it that way....

That really won't work, as your winter consumption will soar! Assuming gas CH, You will use approx 80% of your annual gas consumption during the coldest 4 months. Call your supplier and get some figures from them. or use the national averages.
You say you are low users, but if you have only just put the heating on then that is why.
NB: why do you need a bill to calculate your consumption? You presumably have your opening reading, and reading the meter again now will give you the usage to date.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yeah I know which is why I was worried about using comparison sites.
Im just manually doing it now and calculating how much my current usage would have been if I was on another tariff - again probably not the most accurate judgement.
We've lived in the property since the very end of August and heating has been on since probably mid October....used around 50 units since we moved in...Ive no idea if this is a lot or not...

The comparison sites are spot on aslong as you use accurate kWh figures, not DD figures.
Units (gas?) can mean anything-cu ft or cu m? You need to get your kWh figures to do any meaningful comp. Phone your supplier and get them.

It's just not possible to project a year from such a short period. Suggest you use gas 22,500kWh for a 3 b/r house, electric 3.500kWh. This assumes gas CH/DHW and cooking.
If Swalec were the original suppliers, the may have the historical data?

No Swalec wernt the original suppliers, infact its the first time they've ever supplied the property...
On a few comparison sites Ive entered that I do not know the usage and it calculates it roughly for me. Its a 2 bed flat, elec cooker, Gas CH. 2 Occupants..
