Christmas payment times...

Hi.

As christmas day is on a Saturday this year. Will my payments that usually go in on a Monday be paid earlier as the Monday would be a bank holiday wouldn't it..?

I am in receipt of HB,Child Tax Credit, and JSA which all clear on a Monday. My child benefit clears on a tuesday usually so i don't think that would be affected.

Tax Credit Payment Dates can be found on direct.gov's website HERE
If you're expecting a payment on Monday 27th December, it'll be paid on Christmas Eve - 24th December instead.
I expect this will be the same for all other benefits which would normally be expected to be paid on the 27th.

Hi.

Lookslike it will be the same for my HB aswell, just phoned them and they said providing the banks are running as normal it should be the 24th too.
