DLA rejected

I have been rejected due to the doctors report, even though I have a psychologist report that is strongly supportive of the problems I have outlined. Is it worth appealing?

what were the reasons for refusal?
I know you said it was on the basis of a doctors report but the decision maker takes into consideration all the information available to them. So what was it in your doctors letter which led to a refusal?
Your letter should say something along the lines of 'this decision was taken using information from xxx'.
Did you speak to the doctor about your application?
Basic question is: Do you have care/mobility needs and have they lasted 3mths and expect to last at least a further 6mths?0 -
Having a condition is not an automatic right to DLA. You need to have extra care or mobility needs.0

Ask for a review of your claim, but ensure you do this quickly as I believe you now only have 1 month to request this.
Then contact the CAB or another welfare rights organisation in your area.
The most likely thing is that you did not fill your form in properly (this is a very common problem) and you did not put your care needs in correctly.
You will probably need help to sort this out.
Good luck0 -

Do you have any of those needs? Does your GP disagree that you have those needs?Gone ... or have I?0

How often do you have these care needs? In order to qualify, you need to have had the needs for at least 3 months and expect them to last for another 3. You also need on average, help at least 4-5 days a week and either be unable to cook a meal or need help for at least one hour per day.Sealed pot challenge #232.
