I've searched the forum and now understand that I have to make 2 chargable calls a months to get 1571 etc for free, but my question is what counts as chargable as we are on Option 3 which includes all calls? Would I have to ring a mobile twice a month?
Too many children, too little time!!!

Option 3 morphed into the Unlimited Anytime Plan some years ago.
However, 'free' Caller Display and/or or basic 1571 requires you to make 2 chargeable OR inclusive calls every month so any two inclusive ('free') 01, 02, 03, 0845 or 0870 calls or chargeable 07, 0843/4. 0871/2/3, 09, 00 or 118 calls will suffice.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks for reply, struggled as usual to get a human rather than an automated voice on their helpline.
