A dongle is USB. All netbooks will have USB ports, although some may have more than others. Is it a bluetooth dongle? Chances are the netbook may have bluetooth built in.0

hiya no its a contract mobile dongle for use with t mobile.
most of the ones on ebay only have wifi and say its not compatible with dongles0 -
Can't be 100% sure without seeing the netbooks in question but I don't see any reason why a dongle wouldn't work as I have used them with netbooks before. Wifi and dongles are just 2 alternative methods of connecting to the internet and as long as you have the necesary software (should come on the dongle) it should be ok.
Can you post a link of the netbooks you are looking at?0 -

That is not a Netbook as you would know it. More like a PDA with a screen. A proper Netbook will cost you closer to £150. Though sometimes as little as £120.0

I have an ACER Aspire One netbook: it cost me £179 two years ago.
I use a 3 network prepaid dongle with no problems. I sometimes use WiFi on it too, when I can get it free.
A netbook is a very small, cheap laptop: it is ideal for carrying around and surfing, checking emails etc. A disadvantage is that it is not suitable for long periods of use as bending over it will cause back problems.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

That might be because it has Windows CE. Most netbooks would have Windows XP or Windows 7 which would support the dongles. As the other posters suggest you might need to look at more regular notebooks from well known manufacturers (Acer, Asus, HP etc) but they will cost a bit more.0
