Ford car credit - advice please?!

Hi All,
Sorry, wasnt sure what area to include this in so hopefully someone can advise me. My question(s) relate to my current credit agreement with Ford.
Basically, I took out an 'options' plan with Ford about 20 months ago and I pay £280 a month for my fiesta zetec which is an '09' plate. I've been told this is quite a high amount to be paying so rekon I've been a bit of a mug with this and didnt haggle enough when I bought it, but that aside, I need to seriously consider taking it back as i'm struggling to pay everything
and I need to renegpotiate my outgoings where a car is concerned!
What I'd like to do is get a car on a lease scheme as 1. I need it for work and 2. Im not fussed at all about actually owning my own car, I just want the use of one! I know leasing includes the cost of all servicing, parts etc as well and should drop my monthly payments overall. My main questions are:
- If I walk into Ford and say I cant afford my car anymore, will they offer me a deal on a lease scheme? If they do, will my credit rating be effected if the previous financial agreement is broken (I took the car out over 3 years, so still have 16 months left technically!)
- Im happy to shop around for other lease scheme deals, but does anyone know of any good ones?
I live in Kent and have a few places to approach, but thats only if Ford will let me cancel my existing agreement! I could cancel with them saying I cant afford it at all then go somewhere else to start a lease scheme, but cant be without a car because of work.
I dont really want to pay anymore than about £200 a month to be honest, so any advice/guidance on hows best to go about this will be MUCH appreciated
Oh and any tips will be useful as well
Thanks in advance,
Anna xx :j

If the agreement has no early termination clause i doubt they will offer you another deal. You need to be careful
that terminating the agreement wont put a negative on your credit rating.
You will find it hard to get anything if that happens.
You need to read the contract carefully.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
