Stag Weekend help needed ideas!

Hi everyone,

I did a search under stag, lads holiday etc and got no results so im really hoping i'm not just being thick and can't see a huge thread somewhere!

So, my oh is best man and is supposd to be planning his best mates stag do, but with super long work commitments is struggling to find time, so i offered to make a start for him!

Now, if it was up to me i would send them on a pamparing weekend with horse riding lessons with no alcohol or strippers in sight! lol

BUT, these are lads lads we are talking about, and whilst they wont want naked women parading around them every night, at least one night is a must!
Along with macho activities, but i'm told no water sports!

They ideally want to go abroad, (bratislava has been dropped into conversation) budget around £300 per person, but obviously the cheaper the better!

Wedding is 18th June
Hen do part 1 is 4th June
Hen do part 2 is 10th 11th and 12th June

Stag do cant be same time as hens as the dogs need looking after!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for reading

  • Hiya!

We organised my friend's hen party to Krakow last year through last night of freedom (all one word then .com - it won't let me post links!) It cost us less than £300 for 2 nights, 1 night clubbing with a tour guide and VIP entry and a few free drinks and a day at a spa with massages. That price also includes us chipping in for the bride to be :) The guy that helped to organise the trip was really helpful and sent through an itinerary in advance and added all the little touches like airport pickup and champagne :) we had a really wicked few days although I think Krakow is more aimed at Stag parties! They do trips all over Eurpoe but Poland is the cheapest (and it's dirt cheap once you are there, 3 course meal in a fancy restaurant with drinks cost us £20 each!). Definitley worth checking out :)

    Prague would be my choice.

Cheap flights, cheap apartments and cheap to drink/eat out.

And plenty adult orientated activities as well as a beautiful city.

when we were in fuengirola in april we saw a group of lads coming out of the train station with their suitcases and commented it would be a good place for a stag do or lad or girl holiday. cheap flights to malaga any time of year and quick cheap train fare into the centre of fuengirola or they could get bus to benalmadena and there's plenty of bars/nightclubs at the marina and a really lovely soft sand beach. Don't know about what to do once they get there as we were there with 2 kids but others might.

Poland is a good choice. Relatively cheap and the Poles are very welcoming.

I organised a stag trip to Wroclaw six years ago and we've been back to Poland every year since, each time to a different city. We've just booked up Szczecin for next year.

Ryanair flies to loads of places. Wizz does a couple too. Poznan, Gdansk and Krakow are also good for a first time visit. You can book really good value accommodation on Hotels Dot Com or Staypoland Dot Com.

I second using Last Night of Freedom too - The guys there are really friendly and it helps having a guide when you get there to show you the best clubs etc

Which of the six citys you have been to is the most fun coupled with flights from Stansted.
